More on this Starbucks later!

Starbucks in Fashion Island is one of my favorites. As you may know, Fashion Island, a hot spot for shopping in Newport Beach, is a great place for people watching and trying on jeans that are more expensive than some used cars.

I'm a big fan of this Starbucks due to the great outdoor seating that is protected by a smoke-free sign. The lack of toxic clouds of smoke provides for a great place to sit outside, enjoy the great Newport Beach weather, and sip on a nice cup of coffee. Plus, the outdoor area is shaded in the afternoon, so it's easy to see computer screens.

Inside you'll find a recently designed interior with some barstool-style seating, some large, comfy lounge chairs, and some large community tables. Although I tend to think the tables are too high in conjunction with the relatively low seats, it's still usable for a short period of time until your arms get tired from raising them up so high.

Due to location, great selection of people, and the beautiful weather of Newport Beach, I'm a big fan of this Starbucks.
